Protecting against fraud since 2012

Ed Margolin, Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Ed Margolin is the CEO and Founder of FPN. He doesn't flinch at the prospect of hard work. In fact, it's his persistence and diligence that catapulted his company Fraud Protection Network to new heights.

With nearly a decade of experience in fraud prevention, recovery and resolution, Ed's desire to help investors and consumers who had been victims of fraud helped drive the early beginnings of the company. The rising rates of identity theft gave Ed the idea to develop a protection plan. He believed, this would be a viable business opportunity. And sought out to partner with major data repositories.

Ed took the company through four rounds of financing over the last five years. Totaling north of eight million dollars. Eventually taking FPN's S-1 effective this past May, after an incredible five year journey. Over the course of the next several years, Ed and his team began building a suite of software services.

He continued to foster strategic alliances and partnerships with industry leaders in consumer data, software and Lending. Solidifying deals with a multitude of companies that led their space by far. Fraud Protection Network is now a technical and platform provider for Experian, and now white labels and licenses their software to customers nationwide.

When Ed isn't busy working on his empire, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, and enjoys fishing. Ed also served on the Experian Advisory Council and resides in South Florida.
